BENEFITS OF POTASSIUM

Potassium has a positive influence on turf grass by promoting:

  • Rooting and root development
  • Stolon and rhizome growth
  • Drought tolerance
  • Heat tolerance
  • Cold hardiness
  • Wear tolerance
  • Disease tolerance

Potassium also regulates the absorption and retention of water by turf grass plants. Why foliar feed GRIGG BROS. sources of Potassium?

GRIGG BROS. foliar absorbed Potassiums are pH neutral or acidic, for safety and maximum absorption.
Potassium is easily leached from the soil --- especially sandy soil. Foliar feeding directly to the tissue is more effective.
Excessive granular applications of potassium can tie up CEC sites preventing the availability of other nutrients in CEC limited sand based greens. Although the potassium content of the soil may be high, only a small portion is normally available for uptake by the turf grass plants.

Advantages of GRIGG BROS. Potassium Products:

  • Neutral or acidic pHs
  • Use potassium organic acids
  • Complexed with Plant based amino acids, organic acids, and complex poly saccharides.
  • Mixable with all other GRIGG BROS. products.
  • Highly available.
  • Quickly absorbed.

Foliar Application Rates

GRIGG BROTHERS non-ionic, organic surfactant, INTAKE, is recommended for all foliar applications to decrease drop size and enhance wetting of entire surface.
